Mykhailo Mudryk’s future at Chelsea remains uncertain after his return to football following his doping suspension, with several clubs showing interest in the winger.
The 25-year-old has not featured competitively since November 2024, but he is now eligible to play again after his case was resolved with the Football Association.
Chelsea are keen for Mudryk to get regular minutes this season, making a loan exit increasingly likely. Leeds United are among the clubs to have made an approach, although their opening proposal was rejected after failing to meet Chelsea’s expectations.
The Blues are not currently considering permanent offers and want to carefully assess which destination would best suit Mudryk’s return and development.
Alonso Reveals Chelsea Mudryk Plan
New Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso has refused to put a firm timeline on Mudryk’s future, insisting the club will not make a rushed decision over the Ukraine international.
The Spaniard was asked whether Mudryk could feature in Chelsea’s Premier League opener against Fulham, but made it clear that discussions over the winger’s next step are still ongoing.
“We will see, we still have time to decide, and we don’t have to rush on many decisions and at the right time we will take them, at the moment not yet,” Alonso said.
With the transfer window still open and interest continuing to build, Chelsea now have to determine which move will give Mudryk the best opportunity to rebuild his form after such a lengthy spell away from competitive football.
Elsewhere, Chelsea striker Marc Guiu is close to sealing a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge.
