Sunderland fans have been loving their side’s performances in League One as they continue to hunt down an automatic promotion place, with Barnsley firmly in their sights.
The Black Cats have been completely transformed by Jack Ross in the second half of the season as they’ve gone from failing to ensure consistency to enjoying an incredible unbeaten streak in the league.
However, Jack Ross’ side will travel to Spotland Stadium to face Rochdale later on today in their next League One fixture. The Dale currently find themselves in the midst of a relegation battle, so they’ll be excited about the prospect of causing a big upset and securing a vital three points.
Sadly, not every player on the field performed to their best ability last time out against Accrington Stanley, so Ross must drop this man for today’s game…

Charlie Wyke has failed to live up to expectations since joining from Bradford City back in the summer transfer window, having produced just two goals and two assists in all competitions.
One positive about the 26-year-old’s performance against Accrington Stanley last time out was his distribution. But, his finishing was absolutely awful as he squandered a number of chances, which could have cost Sunderland on another day.
Therefore, Ross must put his trust in someone like Kaziah Sterling who’s hungry to impress.
