Our Leeds and Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are both pretty content with how their seasons have been so far this year.
Indeed, whilst Leeds are in a bit of a blip at the moment and Villa have probably left it too late to get into the play-offs this season, both can say that they have serious cause for optimism for the future.
Certainly, Leeds look in better health than they have for some time and still have a great chance of getting into the Premier League whilst the change in mood around Villa has been scarcely believable.
And, at both of these big clubs, the two managers in charge – Garry Monk and Steve Bruce – have both been praised for the jobs they have done so far.
Indeed, the pair are up for the Championship Manager of the Month award and many supporters have something to say about that on Twitter, but fans have also taken issue with the fact another man is in the nominations list – Lee Johnson.
