Emmanuel Adebayor has confirmed he will be playing for Italian giants Juventus from January.
Adebayor confirmed to Sport / Foot Magazine that a loan deal has been reached with the Italian outfit from next January.
“I don’t know what I did wrong to Roberto Mancini, but he never makes me play,” he told Sport/Foot Magazine. I’m going to change air during the transfer window in January.”
Not really a surprise really. Adebayor plays second fiddle to Tevez (and probably Balotelli when his suspension is over) and only seems to make the team in cup competitions against weaker opponents.
The 26-year-old has only started 6 matches this season and so in a bid to find first team football it seems the striker is ready to up sticks only 18 months after his arrival at Eastlands.
What do City fans think of this though? Coming from Manchester myself I’ve found sky blues fans haven;t exactly warmed to the man from Togo, often calling him lazy and uninterested. Do you think it’s time to move on?
