Arsenal and Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have had their heads turned by the agent of one of Europe’s finest talents, following his latest comments.
TalkSport claims Arsenal and Chelsea are keen on Paris Saint-Germain’s Blaise Matuidi and the player’s agent revealed ‘big clubs’ had offers turned down for the talented midfielder over the summer.
Mino Raiola, who represents Batuidi, told RMC of the offers and Matuidi’s intention to remain in France.
“Blaise Matuidi stayed at PSG because his heart is Parisian. Europe’s top ten wanted him, today they still do. There would be no problems in terms of selling him.”
Whilst fans of both Premier League clubs believe the talented 28-year-old would be a welcome addition to their squad, particularly for the struggling Chelsea outfit, it appears that the French international has no intention of leaving PSG.
If any deal was to occur it would follow a chance of circumstances in the French capital, which means fans have to hope that PSG secure some big signings in January to unsettle their experienced midfielder.
