Inter Milan are interested in Manchester City’s versatile left-back Aleksandar Kolarov according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, but only if a deal for Carlos Tevez fails to materialise.
The Nerazzurri are looking to replace the outgoing Christian Chivu and are ready to offer the 26-year old the first-team football that he desires.
Kolarov joined City just 18 months ago, but has found opportunities limited since the arrival Gael Clichy at the start of the season. He is also thought to be an admirer of Inter coach Claudio Ranieri.
Reports in Italy claim that the deal will only happen if the Carlos Tevez transfer falls through. Meanwhile TuttoSport reports that Juventus are also interested in Kolarov, and that Juve director Guiseppe Marotta met with his agent Sergio Berti this week.
City will want to recoup a fair amount of the £16million they paid for Kolarov and his less than successful cameo against Liverpool in the Carling Cup, will have done little to convince Roberto Mancini that the Serbian international still has a future in Manchester.
