Arsenal playmaker to be offered January exit route

Still ferociously discussing THAT game against Bournemouth last night, the Arsenal fans parked up at the bar in the Transfer Tavern are ready to bid farewell to their title challenge once more.

While the Gunners showed great resilience to come from three goals down at the Vitality Stadium last night, they lost further ground on the top order and the same sort of problems that have plauged Arsene Wenger’s attempts to land another title remain at large.

Such is the nature of the frustration amongst our north London locals, not even transfer reports from the Daily Record can stop them.

They claim midfielder Jon Toral is a target for SPFL side Rangers in January, with Mark Warburton having missed out on Brentford ace Jota.

The Spaniard impressed on loan at Birmingham City last term and is currently plying his trade with Granada in La Liga, though has reportedly been advised by friend Mikel Arteta about moving to Ibrox.

Warburton managed Toral during his own loan stint at Griffin Park and has previously loaned Gideon Zelalem from the Emirates titans and is understood to want him this month.

As you can well imagine, our Rangers supporting locals are praying it comes off.

Would Toral improve Rangers? Let us know below…
