Plenty of Aston Villa fans have been left devastated by a report on the future of James Chester, as Football Insider claim the player has been told to find a new club this summer.
According to Football Insider’s report, the 31-year-old will not be offered a new contract when he returns from his loan spell at Stoke City. His current deal with the Villans expires this summer and the report details how a source at Villa Park believes he will indeed be let go after four years at the club.
The Wales international has endured a difficult time with injuries over the past couple of seasons, missing 19 games due to a knee problem last term before failing to make a single appearance in the Premier League this campaign. He has played four times in the Championship since his loan move to Stoke, though, and some Villa fans are gutted to hear is expected to leave the club.
