Former Aston Villa player Jores Okore been come under investigation for match fixing in Denmark with police involved in the case.
Defender Okore spent three seasons at Villa before calling time on his spell in England, making a move to Copenhagen in 2016.
Now playing for Aalborg BK in the Danish Superliga, the former Claret and Blue man has made 72 league appearances for the club.
However, despite his consistent form, Okore is now involved in a match-fixing claim which was reported after he received a yellow card for Aalborg in the 1-0 victory over OB Odense last October.
During the game, the centre-back appeared to stamp on opponent Oliver Lund’s chest, sparking a 22-man brawl.
North Jutland Police in Denmark are now investigating the claims after Ekstra Bladet claimed several bookmakers saw a massive jump in bets on the defender to be cautioned.
Reacting to the news of Okore via Twitter, many fans gave an opinion on the former Villa man and the reports…
