Many Bristol City fans have responded to a joke from the club’s Twitter account about the international break.
The City social media account took it within their own hands to try and get the fans excited by building their own meme to wave goodbye to the international weekend and a hello back to club football.
The meme involves a man on the phone while on a boat while two dogs are beneath him jumping at him. The man has ‘the international break’ written on him while the dogs have the Bristol City logo on top of them. While the man is on the phone, the dogs leap up at him sending him into the water, thus representing the international break being over.
This wasn’t the first joke from the Bristol City account over the past day, with the club also doing a similar meme to show Callum O’Dowda extending his contract – which you can see on the club account here.
Unsurprisingly, fans absolutely loved to see this content on a Friday afternoon, well, most of them, anyway; there was one who said that they might be overdoing it now…
