Leeds United fans were hitting out duo Adam Forshaw and Tyler Roberts after Marcelo Bielsa confirmed the latest team news ahead of the trip to Queens Park Rangers.
The Argentine confirmed that the two would be out of tomorrow’s clash against the west London outfit. He also went on to say, he didn’t know when either player would return to full fitness (via Phil Hay).
Roberts has been out for a number of weeks now after he suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of the club’s 1-0 win over Reading back in November. The Wales international’s return would be a welcome boost for a team that has scored just one goal in their last three games across all competitions (via WhoScored).
Meanwhile, Forshaw has been out since suffering a hip injury and hasn’t played since the 1-0 loss away to Charlton Athletic all the way back in September (via Transfermarkt).
Fans were left lashing out at the players after it was confirmed by Bielsa that they would not be returning to the squad for QPR as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:
