Leeds United endured another frustrating outing in the Championship as QPR claimed a 1-0 win to further dent the Whites’ hopes of securing automatic promotion.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side would have gone momentarily top with a victory on Saturday afternoon, but were undone by a controversial Nahki Wells strike, while Kalvin Phillips was sent off in the game’s closing minutes.
However, it was Patrick Bamford’s second-half penalty miss that led Whites fans to vent their fury at their main striker.
Bamford was brought down by QPR ‘keeper Liam Kelly midway through the second half, who redeemed himself by denying the forward from the spot.
Supporters were left furious as Leeds fluffed the chance to level before dropping points once again, as Bamford went a fifth game in all competitions without finding the net for Leeds, prompting fans to call for the 26-year-old to be replaced.
Below is a selection of Leeds fans who were fuming with Bamford after missing the spot-kick:
Get rid of him absolutely useless
