The Derby County fans are singing and celebrating in the Transfer Tavern as they have earned the bragging rights after an East Midlands derby victory over Nottingham Forest.
Derby grabbed the opener within the first thirty seconds when Matej Vydra struck a left footed strike into the bottom corner.
The hosts then doubled their lead as Dave Nugent latched onto Vydra’s through ball and slotted past Jordan Smith in the Nottingham Forest goal.
Nottingham Forest had a few chances throughout the game but Derby deserved their victory and Tom Lawrence went close to grabbing a third on three separate occasions.
The victory lifted Gary Rowett’s side up to thirteenth in the Sky Bet Championship table – above rivals Nottingham Forest.
The Derby fans were understandably delighted with this victory in this fierce rivalry.
