Crystal Palace come into today’s game with Watford on the back of an impressive victory over West Brom last time out, and the Eagles fans here in the Tavern are confident of picking up another three points today.
Manager Sam Allardyce has taken his time to get things right but things finally look like being on the up, and a win over the Hornets today would be another vital step in Palace’s quest to stay in the Premier League.
A lot of talk this season here in the Tavern has been around team selection, with a few Palace players not quite pulling their weight and other players simply not putting in the same level of performance we have come to expect over the last few years.
With a big game against Watford today, we have taken a look at TWO players Sam Allardyce could be looking to drop for the game today…
Jason Puncheon

Allardyce could opt to rest the versatile Puncheon, albeit he has done little wrong.
Palace have the pace of Bakary Sako to call on, or they could even go with new signing Jeffrey Schlupp. Either way, Palace have options on the bench and with the match being at home, Allardyce could opt for a more direct approach going forward.
Yohan Cabaye

The French midfielder is arguably the best midfielder the club has, but he was withdrawn towards the end of the game with West Brom last time out, and Allardyce might well choose to rest the Frenchman and give James McArthur a chance.
It would be a surprise to see Cabaye not play, but with Allardyce needing to keep options open and fresh, it could be a move he opts to take.
