These are nervous times for those of a Nottingham Forest persuasion and defeat at home to Reading this afternoon could stick another nail in the coffin of their Championship status for next season.
The Reds are just one point above the drop zone in the second tier of English football and a miserable season could be capped off with an excruciating return to League One in just a few weeks time.

Mustapha Carayol
The winger was named in the starting line-up for the visit to Cardiff City on Monday, much to the discontent of the Nottingham Forest supporters who were in the Transfer Tavern at the time.
Although the ex-Middlesbrough man is quick and can beat a man, he doesn’t look of the required quality to be trusted with being able to perform when Forest’s second tier status is on the line.
One Forest fan is tucking into an early morning pint and he thinks that if Carayol is going to feature for the Reds this afternoon then they might as well just kiss goodbye to the Championship right now.
Danny Fox
Fox hasn’t done a bad job when he has been asked to deputise at the heart of the back four but one thing the Reds can ill-afford right now is square pegs in round holes and Michael Mancienne could come back into contention this afternoon.
One Forest supporter is enjoying a chat with an old pal and a pint of the landlord’s best bitter and he thinks that Fox should definitely drop out of the starting line-up this weekend, stating that he just isn’t solid enough to warrant being handed such an important role in the team.
