England Captain Is A Real Ambassador

England football captain Rio Ferdinand has become an Ambassador for Jaguar Academy of Sport, which aims to recognise, celebrate and inspire the very best of British sporting talent and success.

Less than a month before Rio and his England team mates head off to South Africa for the 2010 FIFA World Cup Rio confirmed that he would be joining the exclusive list of sporting stars – including David Beckham – to help Jaguar promote sports in the UK.

The Jaguar Academy fulfills this aim through a Bursary Fund, which will support new British sporting talent, as well as a prestigious annual Awards Ceremony.

The Academy is a unique club of the best of British sport which will be used to inspire the next generation and hosts a vibrant website celebrating British sporting talent and achievement. You can watch Rio endorsing the project HERE.
