Everton: Fans laud Bernard as he reflects on Manchester United start

Loads of Everton fans have been lauding Bernard as he reflected on the start that he was given by Carlo Ancelotti versus Manchester United in the Premier League.

As per the official website of the Goodison Park faithful, the Brazil international started his first game in the English top flight for the Merseyside club in 114 days against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team, a match in which he opened the scoring for the Toffees, in what he thought was a very important moment in his career.

He also talked about the history of the Blues and what it means for him to play for Ancelotti’s side:

“We know and understand about the history of Everton, the history of players who would give their lives for the Club.

“It is important we all understand the meaning of the club.”

Indeed, Bernard will hope that he can start more games in England’s highest division from here on in, and the 28 year-old has already shown what he can bring to the table, scoring two goals and making one assist in just five appearances in all competitions so far in the 2020/21 term (Transfermarkt).
