Everton are reportedly eyeing up a potential move for Club Brugge winger Noa Lang alongside Manchester United attacker Anthony Elanga.

The Lowdown: Lack of goals

Demarai Gray's strike in the 1-1 draw away at Manchester City was only Everton's 13th goal in the Premier League so far this season, with only two teams scoring fewer.

They have recalled striker Ellis Simms from his loan spell at Sunderland in order to try and bolster their attacking options, and could also dip into the transfer market to further strengthen their squad.

The Latest: Lang interest

Writing on his website, transfer expert Rudy Galetti has revealed that the Goodison Park outfit are 'evaluating the profile' of Lang alongside Elanga ahead of a potential double swoop.

Frank Lampard has asked for attacking reinforcements in January, despite the return of Simms.

The Verdict: Get both in

Both Lang and Elanga should add the necessary squad depth needed for the Merseyside club to pull away from the relegation zone in the second part of the campaign.

Hailed as an 'exciting' name and a 'goal and assist machine' by journalist Graham Smyth, Lang has managed 31 goals and 29 assists in 102 games in total over all competitions for Brugge, mainly operating from out wide (Transfermarkt).

The 23-year-old earned a call-up to the Netherlands squad for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, albeit only playing seven minutes in the tournament.

Nonetheless, Lang would surely relish the opportunity to play in the Premier League, and alongside Elanga's top-flight experience, the Toffees would be making a smart double signing.
