Nottingham Forest were delighted to leave The Hawthorns with a point on Saturday after grabbing a last-gasp equaliser against West Brom courtesy of a fine strike from Matty Cash.
The full-back also scored against the Baggies on the opening day of the season too with a brilliant finish and there was little Slaven Bilic’s side could do to stop him once again. He skipped past Jake Livermore in the penalty box before unleashing a powerful drive across goal that Sam Johnstone didn’t have a hope of saving.
The pleasure was etched across Cash’s face afterwards as he sprinted down to the travelling supporters to celebrate what could be a huge goal come the end of the season. Indeed, he didn’t stop there, as he took to Twitter to express his delight at scoring the decisive goal, stating that he “loved every minute” of the match against Albion.
Cash’s desire and commitment was a real positive and if he and his teammates can produce that consistently until May, then there could be more joyous moments like the late equaliser at West Brom.
