Life is pretty good for Fulham and their supporters at the moment – the Whites are unbeaten in their last five Championship games, and picked up a second win of the week with a 4-1 smashing of Reading at the Madejski Stadium.
Braces from Tom Cairney and Aleksandar Mitrovic sealed a comfortable win on the road for Scott Parker’s men, though one moment had Fulham fans bemoaning their team – albeit only in jest.
Yakou Meite’s late consolation for Reading was arguably the only blot on Fulham’s night, as the forward curled in an impressive long-range strike that may rival Cairney’s opener for the best goal of the game.
Some supporters did call out defender Maxime Le Marchand as Fulham’s defence was finally breached, but it seems as though they weren’t too surprised the team were unable to record just a fourth shutout of the season.
With the points all but sealed, that didn’t stop the Fulham fans sarcastically groaning at the side for throwing away a clean sheet late on:
clean sheets just aren’t for us
