Many Glasgow Rangers fans feel that the club need to be more vocal in speaking out against the treatment of their players following some recent contentious incidents.
On Monday, an image emerged via @Time3Rag on Twitter which shows a Hibernian player clipping Ryan Kent on the back of the ankle in Sunday’s 2-2 draw between the sides at Easter Road.

In the same match, Ianis Hagi was elbowed by Paul Hanlon, while Alfredo Morelos was unceremoniously taken out by Ryan Porteous. Although Don Robertson booked both Hibs players, Steven Gerrard felt that stronger action should have been taken.
In the previous week’s win over Dundee United, Liam Smith went in knee-high on Brandon Barker but referee Kevin Clancy failed to show a red card, much to the disgust of many ‘Gers fans.

While the officials in question have naturally come under fire from some supporters, many of the Ibrox faithful are also unhappy with what they feel is a lack of action from the club in openly condemning the treatment of their players.
Some cited a comparison with Glasgow rivals Celtic, who issued a statement demanding a public explanation from referee John Beaton over decisions he made in their 1-0 defeat at Ibrox in December 2018 (as per BBC).
Check out some of the reaction from ‘Gers fans below:
No card
Alfredo last week – no card
I’d like Rangers to be more vocal on this stuff https://t.co/h1BunhfAZQ

Couldn’t agree more. We are not making enough noise about these consistent fouls on our players that are going unpunished.

Rangers have said nothing since the shop opened & their love in with castore. Who should be binned.

its time the board came out and questioned the officials, if they dont its only a matter of time until kent, aribo,or hagi get a serious injury, and the board will be as much to blåme for sitting back saying nothing

What’s the point going on about it when the club just sit back and get walked over. Jokers

Should speak about it, but don’t, pushovers.

Our club custodians are cowards. That is a fact!!

If we keep accepting these decisions, we will keep getting them . If this was Celtic , Lennon & his board would be demanding answers & putting pressure on the referee for their next game . We need to call this out now , before these decisions & assaults finish our season.
