The Newcastle fans in the Transfer Tavern have been discussing a story that’s cropped up in the Mirror (via the Yorkshire Post), claiming that Newcastle Unitec ould be the next destination for Middlesbrough winger, Adama Traore. The young Spaniard, who came through at Barcelona, is famed for electric pace and has contributed to 15 goals, five goals and ten assists, in the Championship this season.

Adama Traore is a young livewire who could reach the very top under the right tuition. The Spaniard spent two years at Barcelona B before moving to England with Aston Villa in 2015. However, at the end of the 2015/16 season, Villa were relegated and Traore was sold to Middlesbrough, who had been promoted to the Premier League themselves that season, although Traore failed to make a mark in the Premier League and found himself relegated twice in as many years.
This season has been the youngsters first season in the Championship and he’s shown what he’s capable of, leading a number of clubs, such as Newcastle, to look to him as a potential target this summer. However, whilst the Magpies could do with an injection of pace into their frontline, the fans would much rather see a familiar face come back to St James Park. Chelsea’s Kenedy was on loan in the Northeast for the second half of last season and took to life at Newcastle like a duck to water, with the fans calling for him to make the move permanently.
However, that looks unlikely and perhaps Traore could represent a cheaper alternative.

I'd go for Kenedy all day long. Adama has great pace and dribbling but is a complete headless chicken with hardly no end product. We would be paying for potential but who knows if Adama will ever get end product, we know what Kenedy can do.
