Leeds United fans have been tearing into Ian Wright after the former Arsenal player commented on Jean-Kevin Augustin.
The Premier League legend claimed that to get a player ‘up to speed’, you have to give him starts as he blasted Marcelo Bielsa for his comments about leaving the 22-year-old out last weekend (via BBC 5 Live Sport). Augustin was left out of the squad entirely as the Whites went down 1-0 at home to Wigan Athletic with the Argentine claiming the centre-forward needs to adapt to the Yorkshire outfit’s style of play (via Phil Hay).
It proved to be another day of missed chances as the side missed a plethora of good opportunities to beat the relegation candidates. Jack Harrison had one of the best chances as he managed to skew a shot wide from just two yards out (via BBC).
