Liverpool are just about clinging onto a top four place in the Premier League at the moment, and Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to see the job through at Anfield this time around.

The Reds have suffered massively from inconsistencies this season, and after mounting an excellent start and staying in touch with Chelsea, they have fallen well away from the title race.

Klopp himself will no doubt be looking forward to the summer, and our Liverpool fans here in the Tavern have been making plenty of noise over by the fruit machine about who will come and go in the transfer window.

Our landlord thinks a few Liverpool players could be finding themselves on their way in the very near future, and we agree with him.

With this in mind, we take a look at TWO Liverpool players Jurgen Klopp needs to axe ASAP…

Daniel Sturridge

The England striker has fallen well out of favour with Klopp, and it would be of no surprise to see him moved on in the summer.

Sturridge has been injured all too often this term, and there are also question marks around his attitude. Liverpool would be wise to dispense of Sturridge as quick as possible this summer.

Alberto Moreno

The Spanish left back is another player who has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield.

Moreno will no doubt be someone who needs to be moved on this summer, and there will be plenty of clubs interested in taking him on.
