With Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract coming to an end this winter, as it stands LA Galaxy will be in need of a replacement for the great Swede, and the club seems to be getting ahead of things.
According to reports out of Scotland, #LAGalaxy technical director Jovan Kirovski was in Scotland last weekend to watch 23-year-old Colombian international striker Alfredo Morelos.

The Scotsman reports that technical director Jovan Kirovski watched Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos last weekend against Aberdeen, where the Colombian international scored his 13th goal of the season (as per TransferMarkt) in a 5-0 thrashing of the Scottish side.
With MLS sides favouring young, South American talent in recent transfer windows with the Galaxy themselves signing Argentine international Cristian Pavon on loan from Boca Juniors in August (as per MLS Soccer), some fans on social media were excited and also confident that the club would be able to tempt the Rangers striker over in the January window.
Here is what some LA Galaxy fans had to say on Twitter about the potential deal…

The Galaxy face competition for Morelos, though, as The Scotsman‘s report indicates that Aston Villa are also interested in the Rangers star.
