Sunderland: Many fans loved the club’s reply to a Tranmere Rovers fan

Sunderland won convincingly against Tranmere Rovers on Tuesday, coming out of the game with a 5-0 scoreline thanks to goals from Duncan Watmore, Chris Maguire, Lynden Gooch, Will Grigg and Luke O’Nien.
Can Duncan Watmore still come good after his injury hell?
Yes

No

That wasn’t enough for the club’s admin though, as when a Tranmere fan attempted to take a dig at the Black Cats, they got them back by offering a reminder of how the game went:
At least it was worth the journey, you saw plenty of goals… https://t.co/DQogceQHtH

Many Sunderland fans loved the brutal nature of the club’s post, with it impounding more misery on the Tranmere fan following the game.
This will only add to the feeling of satisfaction that has come out of the game, that saw Phil Parkinson win his first game as Sunderland manager, while it also ended a two-game losing streak in the league.
The club will be hoping to continue the feeling of positivity around the Stadium of Light by beating Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
