There seems to be a lot at Sunderland that is currently up in the air, specifically regarding their managerial position and the takeover situation.
With Jack Ross having been sacked after less than two seasons in charge, as well as the uncertainty about whether a takeover will happen, there were many fans who wanted some clarification about what is actually going on at the Stadium of Light.
The hope was that this would come when Sunderland posted a statement on their official channels:

However, that wasn’t to be the case, as the message regarding both topics was one of confidentiality and asking for patience while they do what is best for the club.
While it was good of Stewart Donald to let the fans know he was thinking of them, plenty of those supporters were left underwhelmed by what they read and how vague it was.
