Leeds United are aiming to once again get back into the Premier League this season and are currently well placed to do so.
Looking at the league table in isolation, you see that they have a cushion over those in the play-off places and a game against Nottingham Forest this weekend that provides an opportunity to widen the gap somewhat to at least one of the chasing pack.
However, when adding the context that the gap is the smallest it’s been in a long time and the fact that the form the club is in is poor, you see that their position could be seen as precarious.
Indeed, fans are growing concerned once again that the business end of the season is going to see Leeds fail and, by the look of it, there are suggestions from those that work in the mental side of the game that there is an issue:
Leeds United have issues, says sports psychotherapist and Whites fan Gary Bloom, who has been given access all areas in his work at Oxford United.https://t.co/5t6lxQbAtW#lufc

This debate will rumble until Leeds are promoted – if they are – so let’s take a look at what has been said:
I agree with Gary Bloom. Our problems playing under pressure are clear to see. Look at our consistent failings in the second half of the season. It can’t be luck, it’s in the mind. The expectation of promotion crushes the team over many years since relegation from the Prem pic.twitter.com/W3W46gwJvx
