As if Leeds fans haven’t noticed by now, Patrick Bamford is probably quite close to qualifying for an A&E card. The poor young striker just cannot keep himself fit and yesterday it looks like he managed to pick up yet another niggle, even if the Leeds United medical team don’t think it’s a serious one.
Bamford to have tests tomorrow. Leeds don't think there's any serious issue with his injured knee. #lufc

Phil Hay, as ever, was on hand at the end of Leeds’ tough 1-0 away win at Ashton Gate to get the latest from Marcelo Bielsa on all things Leeds and one of the top items on the agenda to quiz the Argentine on was always going to be the fitness of Bamford. The Whites #9 failed to make it past the hour mark before being subbed for Stuart Dallas, and now is not the time to be crocked.
Whilst Tyler Roberts is always going to be there to step in when he’s needed if Bamford was to join Kemar Roofe and Izzy Brown on the list of players currently unavailable in attacking areas then things would only go downhill for the club. Leeds fans have no doubt that a top two spot is doable this season despite pressure from Norwich and Sheffield United, and having a striker readily available to bang in the goals will be crucial.
