Leeds fans all seem to love Gaetano Berardi. The Swiss defender walks the line very often when it comes to his disciplinary record, but as the Whites’ official Twitter account have wished him a happy birthday plenty of Leeds fans have flocked to laud their man.

Berardi’s birthday happens to fall on a matchday too, as Leeds will be welcoming Brentford, and Pontus Jansson to Elland Road later this evening, and the Swiss defender is in line for a start seeing as Liam Cooper is a doubt for the game with an injury, as per Marcelo Bielsa’s press conference yesterday.
Over the last few years, Berardi has shown to be a fiery character. In the 2017/18 season, the 31-year-old was dismissed three times in the Championship, whilst last season saw him sent off in the infamous play-off clash with Derby County, and tonight, on his birthday, getting three points and staying on the pitch will be key for the ex-Swiss international.

The Whites all seem to love Berardi, as you can clearly see, and it’s now up to him to ensure he can celebrate with three points.
