Some Leeds United fans have been talking about the latest comments that England left-back Luke Shaw has made about the league seasons in England.
Shaw was recently talking at a Combat Corona Twitch FIFA competition (via Yorkshire Evening Post) and he talked about why the season should be scrapped.
The Manchester United man said that fans are ‘important’ and ‘it just doesn’t feel right’ if the games are played behind closed doors due to the pandemic.

A Leeds-related page called ‘Leeds United News’ relayed these comments and it left many fans of the club raging.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men are currently at the top of the Championship table and are one point clear of West Bromwich Albion. Leeds have the best defensive record in the division and have let in only 30 goals in the season so far.
They also have the fourth-best attacking record in the league and are only behind West Brom, Brentford and Queens Park Rangers.
This shows that Leeds deserve to be in the promotion spots in the season and after failing to earn promotion last season, they perhaps deserve to go up this season.
While Shaw, who is valued at £19.8 million (as per Transfermarkt), is entitled to his opinion but Leeds fans are also entitled to think what they want. The season being scrapped will be disastrous for Leeds and not getting promoted again will come as a blow.
