Leeds United fans were agreeing with Harry Redknapp after he was asked to reveal the best team he has faced during his career in football.
In an interview on Dubaieye 103.8 (via LUFC1992), the former Portsmouth manager claimed that Don Revie’s team was the best side he has faced during his time in the sport. He gave special mentions to some of the players that featured in the team, claiming George Best never got a kick against Paul Reaney. He went on to praise the former Whites defender as he declared that he was ‘hard as nails’ and ‘quick as lightning’.
He also mentioned the likes of Terry Cooper, Jack Charlton and Norman Hunter to name a few as he eulogised over the Yorkshire outfit from the 1960s and 1970s.
