The Yorkshire-born midfielder didn’t make the XI, although Luke Ayling did following his winner against Bristol City (EFL via LUFC). Phillips was in superb form against the Robins as he dominated in defence and attack for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, playing the most key passes and making the joint-most interceptions, the joint-most clearances and the joint-second most tackles (via WhoScored).

Indeed, the player has been linked with a move away from the club, with Manchester United said to be impressed by him (via Football Insider).
