Many Leeds United fans were celebrating after promotion rivals Brentford went down 2-1 away to relegation-threatened Luton Town last night.
Indeed, it proved to be a good night for Marcelo Bielsa’s side as they watched the west London outfit struggle against a team who sit bottom of the Championship. An own goal from Shandon Baptiste and a Martin Cranie strike saw the Bees lose to the Hatters and continue their dismal run in the second tier (via BBC). Thomas Frank’s side haven’t won in four league games, a run which started with their draw at home to the Whites recently (via WhoScored).
