Leeds United fans were congratulating Jamie Shackleton after the player’s return to action following his injury lay-off.

Shackleton featured in the club’s 5-0 win over Hull City yesterday as he played half an hour following his return from a fresh muscular injury which he suffered after initially recovering from a hamstring injury (via Leeds Live).
His performance in the victory seemed to leave little to be desired as Leeds Live gave him a six out of 10, commenting on the quietness of his performance.
This campaign has been stop-start for the player as he’s made just nine appearances for the first-team with a one-minute appearance against Reading having been sandwiched between lengthy lay-offs (via Transfermarkt).
Fans were full of good wishes and congratulatory messages for the 20-year-old following his return to action as they took to Twitter to react.
