Leeds United fans were displaying their delight after Stuart Dallas was confirmed to be fit for the clash against Queens Park Rangers tomorrow.
The defender was facing the prospect of losing his ever-present status after Phil Hay reported the fullback ‘looked like’ he picked up a bad injury following the 2-0 loss at home to Sheffield Wednesday. However, Marcelo Bielsa has allayed any fears the Northern Irishman will be out for a prolonged period as he claimed the ace was ‘okay’ in his pre-match press conference yesterday (via Phil Hay).
As mentioned above, Dallas has featured in every Championship game during this campaign and is one of just two players in the squad to do so (via WhoScored). He has performed admirably this campaign, averaging the second-most tackles in the squad.
Fans were left feeling happy after it was confirmed he is fit to play a part in their game against Mark Warburton’s side as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:
Hopefully this means Dallas back at Left Back and Baby Shack bossing centre mid! #LUFC

Blessing in disguise.
Start Dallas left back where he is best and then start either Pablo/Shack— Diddly (@DanYorkshire) January 16, 2020
Glad Dallas is alright. Looked in a lot of pain at the end of the last game.

Hopefully this spells Dallas back to LB, were I think he’s been most effective this season. He’s not quite done it in that 10/CM role

At least Dallas is fit

Great news about Dallas, couldn’t give a toss about the other two. Virtually zero contribution this season which with our small squad could seriously hurt any chance of promotion. Get replacements in otherwise we’ll stay in the Championship for years.
