Leeds United fans were having mixed reactions after they were reminded of Tom Cairney having played for the club’s academy ahead of the side’s clash against Fulham.

The Athletic’s Leeds Correspondent, Phil Hay tweeted out the reminder before asking fans if the club released him because he was ‘too small’.
Cairney is now at Fulham and has a good record against the Whites, scoring four goals and assisting a further three in 10 games against the Yorkshire outfit (via Transfermarkt).
He is a player that has been linked with a move back to the club with reports from Football Insider revealing that Marcelo Bielsa is a ‘huge admirer’ of the £13.5m-rated, as per Transfermarkt, ace.
Cairney has enjoyed a brilliant career with Fulham since he joined the club from Blackburn Rovers in 2015, having helped the west London side to Premier League promotion last season.
It seems fans couldn’t be separated on their thoughts about both Cairney and the game against their promotion rivals tomorrow as they took to Twitter to react.
