Leeds United fans were feeling less than happy after the Yorkshire Evening Post dismissed claims that the club were making a move for Hull City man Jarrod Bowen.
The Sun were claiming that Marcelo Bielsa’s side made a bid to sign the player on loan with the option of a permanent deal if the club earnt Premier League promotion. However, those claims have been brushed aside with the northern-based publication claiming the outfit aren’t even targeting Bowen.
The attacker has been a brilliant asset for the Tigers this season, notching up 16 goals in just 27 appearances in the Championship (via Transfermarkt). In comparison to Patrick Bamford, the Englishman has averaged more shots per game, showing greater threat in attacking areas.
Fans were left feeling displeased with the report dismissing claims of a bid for Bowen as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:

A rumour that lasted around 11 minutes. Back down to earth with a bang. Don’t forget, we’ve been linked with every professional footballer in the last 4 windows.
