Leeds United fans were in bits after Mateusz Klich’s tweet about one of his shots during the 3-2 win over Millwall on Tuesday night.
After brilliant attacking play from Jack Harrison, the ball was squared to the Poland international and with the goal at his mercy, he skied his effort over the stands and onto the ‘M1’ (via BBC). That’s according to the 29-year-old himself, who took to social media site Twitter to make fun of himself, asking supporters, who find the ball, to return it to the Thorp Arch (via Mateusz Klich).
Klich appeared to be in the thick of the action against the Lions last night as he played the most key passes (4) and had the joint-second most shots at goal of any of his teammates (via WhoScored). Fans were full of laughter after the player’s tweet about his effort yesterday as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:
