Marcelo Bielsa’s side seemed to be cruising after goals from Helder Costa and Patrick Bamford (2) saw them lead by three-goals after just 52 minutes (via BBC)

Costa opened the scoring in just the sixth minute of the game with Bamford adding a second just two minutes later following a cross from Stuart Dallas.

The 26-year-old then made it 3-0 when he converted a penalty after he was brought down by ‘keeper Neil Ethridge.

However, the game was turned on its head when goals from Lee Tomlin, Sean Morrison and Robert Glatzel saw the Bluebirds rescue a point at Elland Road.

The fightback saw Bielsa make a shocking admission with regards to his side’s preparation for the game as he claimed they didn’t work on nullifying Cardiff’s strengths despite knowing about them.

Fans were bemoaning the dropped points as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:

Leeds fans, what do you make of the admission from Bielsa? Let us know your thoughts!
