Leeds United fans were issuing hilarious responses after Niall Huggins scored a strange long-range free-kick for the under-23s in their game against Sheffield Wednesday.
The Whites had won a set-piece on the left-wing, just outside the penalty box, with the 19-year-old’s low cross missing every player as it made its way into the back of the net. Indeed, one fan chose sarcasm as he described the goal, such was his feeling towards what happened.

Neil Thompson’s side then retook the lead just two minutes later through Liam Shaw, but they were pegged back in the 92nd minute after the Wednesday midfielder inadvertently turned a cross into his own net (via Leeds Utd). It seems as though supporters saw the funny side of the free-kick by the Welsh youngster as they took to Twitter to react to a clip of the goal.
