Leeds United fans have been lashing out at one of their Championship rivals after they returned tickets ahead of the clash between the two sides this weekend. The club’s official Twitter account revealed that Bristol City had sent back some of their tickets for the game, a move which was labelled as ’embarrassing’ by one supporter.

Both teams would consider themselves as being a part of the race for promotion to the Premier League with the Robins sitting in 7th place, just outside the play-off places on goal difference, and Leeds in second place, level on points with Fulham (via BBC).
The previous clash between the two teams ended in a victory for Marcelo Bielsa’s side as Pablo Hernandez, Jack Harrison and Patrick Bamford scored in a 3-1 win for the Yorkshire outfit. Supporters took their time to lambaste their fellow promotion-rivals as they took to Twitter to react to the news.
