Many Leeds United fans were left praising their fellow supporters after the club sold out their allocation for their clash with Huddersfield Town in a short space of time.
According to LUFC Vision, the side sold out their home tickets for the game against their Yorkshire rivals in under an hour. The Elland Road faithful seem to be bubbling with excitement as the Whites push for promotion to the Premier League, having been relegated back in 2004.
Leeds met the Terriers back in the first half of the season, beating them 2-0 thanks to two second half goals, including a stunning volley by Ezgjan Alioski (via BBC). The game holds importance for both teams as Marcelo Bielsa’s side look to maintain their promotion bid while just three points ahead of Fulham in third, whereas Danny Cowley’s team are looking to steer clear of relegation.
