Leeds United: Fans laud Mateusz Klich after performance against West Bromwich Albion

Leeds United fans were lauding Mateusz Klich after the Polish forward’s performance against West Bromwich Albion yesterday.

Statistics from yesterday’s game emerged and they make for brilliant reading for the 29-year-old attacker.

As well as having 64 touches, Klich played the most attacking-third passes (25/32), made the most ball recoveries (13) and completed the most take-ons (3) (via LUFC Data).

Klich has proven a crucial player for Marcelo Bielsa’s side so far this season, starting in all 26 Championship games for the Yorkshire side (via Transfermarkt).

He has notched up three goals and a solitary assist, including a crucial brace in the 4-0 win over Middlesbrough.

The Whites retained their spot at the top of the table yesterday after they rescued a draw away to their promotion rivals.

Fans were full of praise for their attacker as they took to Twitter to react to the statistics from his performance against the Baggies, with one supporter suggesting that he outshone opponent Romaine Sawyers on the day.
