Leeds United: Fans laud Patrick Bamford after brace in comeback win over Millwall

Leeds United fans were lauding Patrick Bamford after the forward scored a brace in the comeback win over Millwall in the Championship last night.

The former Middlesbrough man seemed to return to form in yesterday’s win as he notched up two goals in just 18 second-half minutes for Marcelo Bielsa’s side. Prior to the win over Gary Rowett’s side, he hadn’t scored in any game since the 2-1 loss away to promotion-rivals Fulham last December (via Transfermarkt).

However, he was brilliant in the victory over the Lions as he had an eye-opening nine shots at goal, the most of any player managed for the Yorkshire outfit (via WhoScored). Leeds Live lavished him with praise following his display as they gave him a seven out of 10, commenting on the threat he provided in the penalty box.
