Leeds United: Fans laud Patrick Bamford’s message in response to club account over coronavirus

Responding to a tweet by Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford, many Whites supporters have been gushing over the player’s message to supporters amid the coronavirus crisis which has brought football to a stand-still – professing their ‘love‘ and lauding the ‘top man‘.

Bamford, who has scored 13 goals and assisted two others in 35 league starts for the Whites following a fairly consistent campaign (WhoScored), is currently sidelined along with the rest of the Leeds United squad as the coronavirus forces football action to be suspended until April 30th at the earliest date.

The Englishman, taking to Twitter to send a message to supporters, implored the Whites fan base to ‘stay safe‘ and ‘keep them hands clean‘ until the outbreak potentially dies down and football action can resume. In response, plenty of fans have sent their best wishes straight back to Bamford, taking to social media and sending positive messages to the forward.
