Leeds United fans were lauding the Elland Road faithful after a video of the supporters celebrating an old goal resurfaced.
The clip shows Chris Wood heading home a cross in the Whites’ opening goal of the game against Brighton and Hove Albion back in March 2017 (via BBC). Leeds supporters have been lauded for the atmosphere they create inside Elland Road with Jean-Kevin Augustin having lavished the Yorkshire faithful with praise after watching the side come back from 2-0 down to beat Millwall 3-2.
Marcelo Bielsa has also been vocal about how good the supporters are, claiming the atmosphere exceeded his expectations after his first game in charge back in August of 2018 (via Yorkshire Evening Post). Fans were being extremely complimentary of their own supporters after the video of their clash with Brighton was shared as they took to Twitter to react.
