Leeds United: Fans offer mixed opinions to late Patrick Bamford chance

Leeds United fans were offering mixed opinions about what do to in a scenario that could have seen the Whites win their clash against West Bromwich Albion.

Heading into stoppage time, Marcelo Bielsa’s team broke on the home side with Patrick Bamford having been played through on goal. However, whilst he had the option to square it to Mateusz Klich, he opted to take the shot on instead.

One fan asked the Leeds faithful what they would do in that scenario, whether they would shoot or square the ball? And the responses proved to be mixed.

The move didn’t prove to be too costly for the Yorkshire outfit, who retained their place at the top of the Championship table.

However, Dean Ashton was less than pleased with Bamford for failing to square ball as he claimed the forward was ‘selfish’ (via EFL on Quest).

Fans couldn’t be separated on whether they would pass the ball to their teammate or shoot themselves as they took to Twitter to react.
