Leeds United fans on Twitter divided over David Stockdale rumours

Leeds United fans have reacted to Twitter posts by David Stockdale who was recently recalled by Birmingham City following a short stint at Wycombe Wanderers.

But judging by the tone in which the goalkeeper made the posts, some Leeds fans have suggested that Elland Road might be a good home for him if he doesn’t want to play for Birmingham.

The 33-year-old Stockdale has had a rough couple of months after making three appearances on loan for League One side Southend United in September before going on another loan move to Wycombe in November.

And now after only two caps for the Chairboys, he is on his way back to Birmingham.

Other Whites fans however feel it would be a waste to have Stockdale at their club and have rubbished the claims that Marcelo Bielsa should make a move for him.

Stockdale was doing well at Brighton then suddenly couldn’t wait to go to B’ham, where to put it bluntly, it has been a disaster.
Money isn’t everything as he has discovered. Not good enough now for Leeds, couldn’t hack the Bielsa way. I’m sure we’ll look elsewhere.
