Leeds United: Fans appreciate Nicky Butt’s comments on promotion bid

Several Leeds United fans appreciate the comments made by an eight-time Premier League winner who has been speaking about the Whites and their hopes of promotion.

Nicky Butt claims that he is ‘desperate’ to see the Whites return to the top-flight because he misses the ‘healthy rivalry’ that exists between Leeds and his former club Manchester United (via Manchester Evening News). The competition between the two clubs exist due to the relationship between the counties Yorkshire and Lancashire, established during the 15th century War of the Roses (via talkSPORT).

The Old Trafford giants come out on top when looking at the head-to-head record between the two teams, having won 46 of the 107 games played between the two teams (via 11v11).
